  • Abstract
    The short wavelength limit of a thulium fiber laser is investigated. Wavelength tuning from 1720 nm to 1660 nm was demonstrated and fixed wavelength operation up to 12.6 W at 1726 nm with slope efficiency of 67% was achieved.
