Abstract :
A multimicroprocessor vector arithmetic unit, which is an external device that connects to a host computer through a high-speed IEEE-488 interface is described, and its performance is discussed. The unit performs high-speed vector and matrix operations for a host microcomputer. The system contains Texas Instruments TMS32020 digital signal processors which operate in parallel
