Abstract
This paper aims at measuring interindustrial innovation spillovers, as a useful information for policymakers. We apply an “input-output analysis” to the Tangshan Statistical Yearbook of intermediate goods split into 10 economic sectors for the year 2010. To establish the forward and backward R&D flow coefficient matrix model, the paper calculates and analyzes the beneficiary effect and the contributor effect of each industry. The result of intersectoral innovation spillovers is gotten by systematical clustering method, it is shown that the larger beneficiary and contributor industry. This paper provides a significant reference on measuring intersectoral innovation spillover, developing regional innovation system management policy and the establishment of modern industrial system in Tangshan City.
