Abstract :
The purpose of this paper is to present the results of collaborative work undertaken by NTT and France Telecom to develop a common social impact indicator. France Telecom has a presence in over 30 countries and it thus provided the project with a global vision and the data needed for the index calculations, thanks to its position notably in Europe and in emerging countries. This collaboration between two companies with distinct perceptions should reveal both cultural similarities and differences.
