Abstract :
This electronic docume AVS is domestic Audio Video-coding Standard series standards. AVS emploies RDO technique in mode decision, but traversal mode increase computational complexity. In order to reduce model number, the paper proposes a SKIP mode decision algorithm, fast inter mode decision and selective Intra mode decision. Results show that the algorithm can increases coding efficiency while maintaining similar video quality.
