Abstract :
In order to achieve the quick design of standard parts and common parts for blanking mold, This paper takes the design of type B round punch for example, achieves a type B round punch rapid parametric design on the basis of the parameter feature analysis. Through the secondary development of Pro/E using automation gateway. The result reveals that the design technology based on parametric characteristics can shorten the development cycle of standard parts and common parts, and improves the design efficiency and quality, it has a reference value for other products´ parametric modeling and development.
