  • Abstract
    Article using a combination of mathematical and statistical methods to establish the predictive coding model of all-zero block threshold under different cost function with different quantization parameter. Use this threshold model presented an all-zero block detection algorithm based on quantization parameters. Experiments show that the cost function using the established model of all-zero block threshold for early termination, and compare with Yang´s algorithm when the quantification parameter is low, the estimated performance has drops slightly but PSNR has the average of 0.05db enhancement, when the quantification parameter is high, enhances 10%-18% during the estimated performance, PSNR also enhances approximately 0.06db.
