Abstract :
This paper presents two microwave power splitters, utilizing equivalent T-shaped transmission line (TL) model. The advantages of the proposed over the conventional splitters are not only superior miniaturized size but also suppress harmonic response due to its´ periodic structures. Both the proposed Wilkinson divider and Hybrid coupler based on the T-shaped TL are designed and fabricated on an FR-4 substrate at 1 GHz and 2 GHz, respectively. The measured results of the proposed structures are compared and show good agreement with the simulated results.
