Abstract :
Operation state switchable erbium-doped fiber laser is demonstrated using semiconductor saturable absorber mirror and polarization control. Pulse-splitting in anomalous dispersion fiber is studied with nonlinear Schrodinger equation. Multi-level modulation of Q-switched mode-locking is observed.
