Abstract
The Yb3+/Tm3+ co-doped 60TeO2-30WO3-10La2O3 glass with good thermal stability and efficient 1.8 mum emission is reported. The energy transfer mechanism for both upconversion luminescence and the 1.8 mum emission is discussed.
