Abstract :
Several shortcomings of the normal method on temperature measurement in Substation, such as the bad time-real function and the limitation of the environment and the infeasibility in airtight equipment are analyzed. Above methods can´t applied to monitoring the temperature of closed equipments. Zigbee technology is used to the measurement system in substation. The PtlOO temperature sensor and zigbee net technology are used in this system, which can real-timely measure the temperatures of several points, such as the plug-in strip, the cable, the outer skin of transformer and the wire. The analysis of the field data of Tieling power supply company show that the system can work reliably and stably, and guarantee the safety of the substation equipment.
