Abstract

The emergence of Web service and its architecture is to provide enterprise solutions by composing Web services to constitute processes in the domains of business and science.Heterogeneity problems is one of the obstacle of interaction between Web services.This paper firstly analyses the existing several heterogeneous situations in services compositions,present the mediation-based approach for resolving these problems by the existing technologies and tools,such as SAWSDL,WSDL,OWL and Axis 2.Describe the related technologies used by the mediation approach,expatiate the processes of implementing transform of heterogeneous data by the mediation.The mediation can seamlessly integrate with the existing information integration system or Web services composition framework,and effectively improve the quality of Web services composition.
