  • Abstract
    This paper fully describes the use and working principle of resolver, and briefly explains the common used Resolver-to-Digital Converter (RDC for short) decoding arithmetic. Based on this basis, the paper shows a simple software decoding method the angle tracking observer. It´s of low cost, strong anti-interference ability, flexible and convenient compared to the specific RDC chip; and on the other hand, it not only has the smooth ability, but also can track the motor rotor position and rotor speed in the same time compared to the inverse trigonometric function method. And did the theoretical derivate and simulation analysis of the key parameters. This method has been applied to wind power pitch servo driver systems, the effect proved to be very good, the measured data and simulation results are consistent, the correctness of the method has been verified.
