Abstract :
Modeling and simulation of spread-spectrum communication systems in Scilab environment is considered. Models of basic components are introduced in the Scilab Connected Object Simulator (SCICOS) package. A Scicos diagram of a single-user system is realized and time domain and parametric simulations are developed in order to compute the bit error rate of the transmission. Principles of simulation of the realized diagram using the parallel virtual machine toolbox are then given
