Abstract :
The colorimetric evaluation methods for ink trapping are put forward in this paper. The first is based on ideal overprint of inks. The other is based on the psychological chroma of ink colors. After the computational method and process obtained ink trapping values through several evaluating methods were discussed and analyzed, the following results were given. The densitometric evaluation method for ink trapping has some shortcomings. Two methods put forward in this paper give lots of advantages and can be used completely for practical test of printing products.
