Abstract

JDF has become an important data format for information integration in printing industry. The purpose of the present study is to get an excellent integration solution to exert JDFpsilas excellence in application. First, the characteristics of JDF-based integration and the requirements of information integration in pressroom are analyzed. Secondly, a JDF-based integration solution for pressroom is presented, the main functions of the important components and the key technologies of JMF messaging between components are analyzed. Finally, according to the integration solution, with Java and J2SE as the development platform, the prototype system of the sheet-fed offset pressroom information integration is developed; and the operation results have proved the correctness of the solution and the feasibility of the method for its realization.
