Abstract :
1.38 W continuous-wave power at 531 nm with 19.6% internal conversion efficiency is obtained at room temperature by single-pass extracavity frequency doubling of a Nd:GdVO/sub 4/ laser through a 2-mm-thick, 25-mm-long periodically polled MgO:LiNbO/sub 3/.
