  • Abstract
    An atomic absorption spectrometer usually uses a hollow cathode lamp as the light source. As a result being aging or affected by the external environment, the light intensity of the camp would suffer a excursion, which will decrease the stability and precision of the elements measurement. This paper introduces a measurement and control system of the light intensity, which adopts MCU C8051F021 as the core unit. The introduction includes both hardware and software of the control system. The light intensity is being monitored instantaneously, and can be shown (in the form of figures) to the operator in the computer. Proven by experiment , the system, which characterized by reliability and maintainability, stabilizes the light intensity of HCL.
