On Legal Issues and Countermeasures of E-Tickets in International Air Transportation

The electronic ticketing ("e-ticketing") is arguably the most critical commercial tool aimed at cutting rising costs in the airline industry since it\´s first at VALUEJET Co,. in 1993. Now e-tickets are widely used almost all over the world. In the late of 2007, as IATA plans, all the traditional air tickets must be substituted by e-tickets. In transnational air transportations, the use of e-tickets might bring out additional troubles in private international law. So the author enumerates the issues about conflicts of law in this area and attempts to give some advices from the dimension of private international law.
