Abstract :
Grown-together Nd:GdVO4/GdVO4 composite crystals were presented and end-pumped by diode-laser operating at 912 nm. The maximum output power of 8.15 W was obtained, with optical conversion efficiency of 29.1% and slope efficiency of 44.2%.
