Abstract

Summary form only given. The study of WAP applied in the home care system will be the main object of this research. The telemedicine system of home care with the WAP platform will provide the home care nurse with access to the hospital information system through the mobile phone. The system will provide acquisition, transmitting and deposition of the physical information of the home care patient into a database. The WAP in the mobile cellular phone will make this a high mobility, low cost and powerful system in the application of home care telemedicine.
