Abstract :
The simplest dual method is introduced as a novel method for constructing the lifting scheme of any biorthogonal wavelets with the unique result and relatively simple structures only if the low pass filter in decomposition satisfies one of three conditions listed in this paper. Firstly, we extend the applicability of lifting theories and define the formal simplest dual of low pass filter in decomposition with the matrix form of lifting scheme. Then formulas and conditions of the method are established. Finally, the lifting scheme of a group of compactly supported biorthogonal wavelets with high vanishing moments and symmetry is constructed.
