  • Abstract
Image redundancy is one of the most crucial issues during the application of capsule endoscopy. For solving this problem, a novel method which combining image motion model and block searching for screening of redundant images is presented. First, the cur-image is divided into blocks, and feature points are extracted from blocks and tracked in pre- and post images. The remaining blocks and the blocks with untracked feature points will be searching in pre- and post-images using block searching method. Promising experimental results show that this method can screen out redundant frames efficiently, and improve the efficiency and accuracy of diagnosis.
