Abstract :
In order to solve the problem of scraper conveyor plug resulting from collapse of coal seam, some coal mine machinery companies consider replacing fluid coupling with permanent magnetic coupling in scraper conveyor. In assumed conditions, some equations about torque, power and heat productivity, which were deduced from the operating principle, were used in practical. Finally, we get the conclusion that applying permanent magnetic coupling can´t deal with this problem in given conditions.
