  • Abstract
    In this paper, the Coastal Economic Zone of Liaoning was selected as study area, according to the characteristics of land-use spatial and temporal evolution, taking Mapinfo7.0 as basic platform, Arc GIS 9.2 as advanced operating platform. Besides the driving factors and decision support of land-use spatial and temporal evolution were brought into land-use spatial and temporal evolution, using Arc GIS Engine component and SQL Server2000 relational database to manage and call resource entity data. Then the information system of land-use & change based on the technology of GIS (Geographic Information System) was constructed, and also can deal with a variety of data models under the cross-platform VB component technology framework provided by the information system. The dynamic and visual reflection of land-use spatial and temporal evolution will be realized by man-machine interactive mode and GIS technology. This can provide interface operation and decision service for high decision-making, middle managers and basic operation of land-use spatial and temporal evolution combining with embedded technique on computer data. Meanwhile it is can provide reference for the rational allocation and effective use of land resources by realizing information resources sharing.
