The Evaluation on the Industrial Competitiveness of Beijing

According to the characteristics of the industrial competitiveness, this paper establishes a index system of evaluating the industrial competitiveness. By the indexes and the means of factor analysis, the paper evaluates the industrial competitiveness of the industries of Beijing. The appraisal results show that there are three characteristics existing in Beijing´s industrial competitiveness: the resource-intensive industries have the strongest competitive power; the technology-intensive and capital-intensive industries have the stronger power; and the labor-intensive industries are comparatively weaker.
