Abstract :
In this short paper, an investigation on near-field characteristics of linear infinite slot array antenna using FDTD method is presented. Using Floquet periodic boundary condition, useful illustrations on near-field of such periodic structures are described. Considering the effect of other radiating elements in an array structure, effective near-field pattern of a single slot in the array is shown to be accessible. This field will be useful in derivation of effective far-field pattern of each array element containing mutual coupling effects in the presence of other radiators. Compensation of mutual coupling effects on far-field pattern in array by this Algorithm is the vision of authors for future researches.
