Abstract
The application of sampling and sampling-like tecniques to the computation of the far field scattered by a shaped reflector antenna is presented and explored. This new tecnique is based on the use of the Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) with an iterative procedure. An extensive numerical analysis has been performed; whose results are presented and briefly discussed in this note. These results show the excellent performance of the proposed new method, a very appealing one from the point, of view of both flexibility and compute time reduction.
