Design of Distributed Network Management System Base on Web and CORBA

In this paper, the importance and necessary of developing distributed network management system based on Web and CORBA is analyzed firstly, then the system´s use case model is introduced, at last the system´s architecture (which combines Web, CORBA notification Service and TCP push technology) and the designs of Web server, CORBA server, reporting real-time default info and user-defined filter mechanism are described in detail. The shortcomings of traditional network management such as the running bottleneck of network management host and network management accessing limited by section is solved effectively by this system. The efficiency, quality and level of network management are improved greatly.
