Abstract :
This work illustrates that four-dimensional emittance automatically shrinks in a particular static magnetic field, while vertical emittance is still a constant. The physical mechanism is that the transverse velocity of any particle not only decreases but also makes the longitudinal velocity approximately equal to the velocity of the equilibrium particle
