Platform to supports learning based on Social Network, Web Intelligence and CSCL

This paper presents a Collaborative Learning Platform (we have denominated in spanish Red Acade¿mica Colaborativa Institucional -RACI), which is based on methodologies used in Social Network, Web Intelligence, and CSCL (Computer Supported Collaborative Learning). These three areas are based on carry out group work to achieve a common task or goal by means of an interface to a shared environment. RACI provides a shared workspace allowing collaborative learning to students of the Facultad de Ciencias de la Computacio¿n (FCC) of the Beneme¿rita Universidad Auto¿noma de Puebla (BUAP), which is organized in groups that contain tags or resources related with a study topic or problem in common. This academic collaborative environment provides an easier interaction between students and teachers; it is useful for sharing academic information through tags in order to facilitate learning in a dynamic and natural way into the community of students and professors from the FCC.
