Abstract
Control and interaction of robots with humans depend on the robot´s level of autonomy. In order to investigate the suitability of autonomy for assistive applications we have developed a remote controlled and a goal driven humanoid assistive robot as well as a robot with a self-generating will. Concepts and first results are presented in this paper.
