  • Abstract
    Summary form only given.We report the extension of two photon excitation to near-field studies and the first observation, to our knowledge, of single molecule imaging in this geometry. The highest-resolution near field scanning optical microscopy (NSOM) images have been achieved with metal-coated fibers.
