Abstract
This paper presents scattering characteristics of a TE electromagnetic plane wave by a photonically controlled semiconductor plasma strip grating embedded in a insulator slab at millimeter wave frequencies. The characteristics are analyzed by using the moment method and estimated numerically at millimeter wave frequency bands. It is theoretically explained how the resonance anomaly and the frequency scanning characteristic are controlled by changing the plasma density.
