Abstract
Incomplete LU (ILL7) preconditioner is proposed to accelerate the convergence of iterative solvers when solving electric field integral equation (EFIE) of electromagnetic scattering problems. With a perturbation from the principle value term of magnetic field integral equation (MFIE) operator, an effective ILU preconditioner can be constructed. Simulation results show that the convergence rate can be significantly improved while maintaining low cost for construction and implementation.
