  • Abstract
    This paper describes an original passive microwave system which, on the basis of further informations delivered by the sensors of the main navigation system, performs the two following functions: altimeter and navigation updating (for low-cost inertial systems). Furthermore, simulations of this system have been run on the basis of ground radiometric temperature measurements, providing an estimation of its performances.
