Abstract
The detection on drips velocity is used extensively in medicine or other field such as micro-flow measurement. A cylindrical capacitor sensor is manufactured for drips detection and micro-flow measurement with counting method. The cylindrical capacitor wave when a drip fall into or pass through it; a digital pulse signal is obtained by a chip which is employed to convert capacitance to digital value, then the drips velocity is acquired by using microprocessor. The experimental results have shown that the drips capacitor sensor can be used to detect liquid drops, its precision is prior to 99%.
