Abstract :
Fault diagnosis and monitoring is an important part of the intelligent diesel engine technology. The fault simulation of diesel engine is crucial to the research of on-line monitoring and fault diagnosis technology, and it is also an important content of the experimental verification. This paper introduces a real-time simulation platform for diesel engine faults, which is built with SIMULINK, RTW and xPC Target etc software tools, and also a combination of a PC, an industrial computer and some data acquisition boards. The platform features itself with the advance of generality, extensibility and seamless integration. This paper introduces the software and hardware structure of the platform, as well as the fault simulation contents and some specific methods of fault simulation. At last, the paper provides some simulation demonstrations.
