Abstract
The Superconducting Super Collider (SSC) is a proton-proton colliding beam accelerator which, when completed, will provide collision energies of 40 TeV in the center-of-mass, at a luminosity of 1033 /cm2/sec-1. This paper will describe the current status of the design and construction of the project
