A Perspective of Construction Enterprise Culture: Based on System Thinking

Based on reviewing the literatures about culture connotation of Chinese and Western scholars, this paper points out that the term "culture" can be used in a general and a special sense, and analysis the generalized cultural connotation and extension structures. On this basis, the construction enterprise culture connotation and extension structures are defined. On the systems theory perspective, the construction enterprise culture is a system, and the structure model is proposed. Furthermore, it points out that construction companies culture is a life system on the viewpoint of life.
