Abstract :
The design and realization of a leading-to-FPGA implementation Mandani´s fuzzy inference system with two inputs, 16 rules and single output is introduced here. System architecture, that is sequential in nature, was specified through a software tool which automatically generates the architecture code according to user settings. A novel type defuzzyfication stage was implemented in order to use a parallel distributed arithmetic scheme.
