Abstract
Radio propagation measurements and empirical models for the design of indoor radio communications systems and planning tools development are presented. Narrowband channel sounders in the 1.9-GHz band are used to investigate path loss and wave propagation characteristics. Site measurements are done within different buildings. Models considering site-specific information are proposed for prediction in corridors, in non-line-of-sight conditions, and in transversal corridors
