Abstract
Summary form only given. A deconvolution method used to solve for the transfer function (impulse response or Green´s function) of a linear system has been investigation. In particular, digitally processed deconvolution methods for enhanced range resolution using a pulse train of rectangular (coprime) pulses have been developed. The following issues have been addressed: (1) range resolution using a two or three pulse train of coprime rectangular pulses; (2) the optimal choice of coprime pulse pairs (or triplets); (3) the robustness of the digital deconvolution method with respect to additive noise; and (4) the effects of Doppler shifts on the processing
