Abstract :
Advances in wavelength conversion, such as second-harmonic generation and optically parametric oscillation based on QPM-MgO:LiNbO/sub 3/ are discussed. Topics include ultrafast pulse treatments with type-I QPM by use of an off-digital nonlinear optical coefficient.
