Abstract
Millimeter wave frequencies near the oxygen absorption of the athmosphere around 60 GHz can be used for short-range low probability of intercept (LPI) communications. In order to investigate the behaviour of mm-wave hand-held radio links, small and lightweight transceiver units have been developed at 60 GHz. The millimeter-wave components designed for frequency modulation will be described Propagation measurements, have been carried out, results will be presented.
