Abstract :
Pillar insulators live-line clearing apparatus is to remove contaminations from the insulators by insulating medium dry ice. It is safe and efficient, without the risk of flashover accidents. This paper describes experiments and tests about controlling parameters which have impact on cleaning effect on the experiment platform. Available dry ice flow, rotating speed et al is produced, which is the fundamental of the further research of pillar insulators live-line clearing apparatus.
