Abstract :
In this paper, to improve the control speed of three phase PWM VSI´s ac-side current, two space vector current control strategies are proposed respectively named current-space-vector hysteresis control based on projection method and optimized current-space-vector control. The current-space-vector hysteresis control based on projection method is to find a switch state in real time based on the electric variables by projection method while the rectifier is running. Under this switch state, ac-side current error vector would diminish at the fastest speed, which would speed up the rectifier´s current control speed effectively. While the optimized current-space-vector control method is to synthesize a expected current error derivative vector using some of the eight ac-side current error derivative vectors which are converted by the converter´s eight voltage vectors, making the ac-side current vector move to the origin along the shortest trajectory at a fixed switching period under the expected synthesized vector. This would, too, speed up the dynamic response of the current control. This paper has some guiding significance on occasions where high switching speed is demanding. The effectiveness of the two proposed current control methods are verified by the simulation using the Matlab/simulink package.
