Abstract :
In this paper, the resonate property of dielectric disk is studied, and then a gradient-index slab and a lens are designed with the disk matrix. It is shown that the resonant frequency and the refraction index can be controlled by adjusting the height of the disk. A gradient slab and a lens are fabricated at 5 GHz. The simulation results show good agreement with the prediction.
