Abstract :
The characteristics of small antenna using H-shaped microstrip patch antenna is studied. Significant reduction of antenna size can be realized when the H-shaped patch is used instead of the conventional rectangular microstrip patch antenna. The effect of antenna parameters like substrate height and feed point are analyzed and their effects on return loss, VSWR are shown. The designed antennas are simulated by IE3D software.
