Abstract :
This paper builds on the traditional ball and plate balancing system; a novel method for making the ball follow the path of any polar graph, with the equilibrium position of the plate as the origin, is discussed and extended to make the ball follow any ´n´ sided polygon. A 5-wire Higgstec touch panel coupled with Arduino Duemilanove with Atmega 328 was used. A description of the hardware and software used and the algorithm followed is also presented.
